technology: a friend or a foe.

"Animals have come to mean so much in our lives. We live in a fragmented and disconnected culture. Politics are ugly, religion is struggling, technology is stressful, and the economy is unfortunate. What's one thing that we have in our lives that we can depend on? A dog or a cat-loving us unconditionally, every day, very faithfully"

Nowadays, Technology has exceeded the humanity. Technology is a far more superior entity than humans. It is the most necessary thing in the life of a person. It really fulfils our daily need. If you are feeling unwell, There are several apps where you can take doctor's opinions. If you are missing someone badly, you can video call that person or you can call that person. If you want to give someone a message, all you have to do is pick up your phone and push some buttons and BAM!. Your message has been sent and received by the other side. It is that easy. There are several social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. where we can be updated on what's happening in the world. This is just not it. There are much more uses of smartphones. These are just some uses of smartphones. We are surrounded by machines from the fan on the ceiling to the zip of the pants(up in one second, down in one second). I'm a computer science student. I'm also a tech-e. I have to surrounded by the computers and smartphones(even if I don't want to be) to learn new things and what's going in the tech world, What's new in the programming, What's trending and all. I can't be updated on all that with news channel because come on, let's face it, our news channel can only able to show the debate of the uneducated politician. And they are debating over who is rightful party to rule the country(Irony). There are much more politicians in our country who is unable to read or write even their own name and they became the leader and leading a state or become a governor(irrelevant from the topic).

But!.... What if I say that, the technology that we are using is a friend, no doubt on that. but It's More a foe than a friend. I'm sure that all of us know that but not one of us do anything about that. Continuous use of electronic devices causes sleep disorder in which you have problems in sleeping. The radiation of mobile phones affects our health in a serious way. People are addicted to their phones. When they wake up, the First thing they see is to check their phones and notifications of the previous day. When they wake up, they post pictures caption "just woke up". I mean, OKAY!!!. Anything new about that?? It's not like you have a superpower of waking up. If it's a superpower that I have the superpower of taking the shit in the morning, And also I can pee really nice. It doesn't mean that, I should write a caption, "Feeling like a superhero" and then post it on social media. Well....this none of my business. But still, teenagers are the future of their own respective country and to the earth too. You should be stuying and gaining knowledge from social media websites instead of "feeling tired with 57 other peoples". Man, you are the brightest mind of the earth. Today's 90% teenage doesn't know the basic general knowledge but they do know what is the most trending "meme". We are taking technology for granted.
A decade or so before, when technology is not well developed, when mobile phones are not there, we have only telephones and one of the most popular networks back then is BSNL. If we want to talk to someone you can call him or you have to write letters. And it feels good and personal. And it touches the heart of other people. But now, we have various social media websites to message someone. As I have mentioned before, All you have to do push some buttons and BAM!! you have sent a message. Yeah!! It's fast and less work(LAZY PEOPLE) but it doesn't feel too good, At least, not to me. I remember I have a friend. We were really close when we were in school but when I left school, we talk a lot about our day, what's going on in school. Days past by, those calls convert into FB conversation, those conversations become "OK", "yeah", "hmm" and "happy birthday". From happy birthday bhosadike to just happy birthday on my facebook wall. One day, my sister posting rakhi's to our cousins and we have one extra envelope left. So, what I did is, wrote a letter and describing one of our funniest incidents and send to him. After, 5 days he read the letter and called me. That day we talk our heart out. We talk about everything. From that day we talk almost every week. some days he was busy, some days I was busy but we talk at least for 10 minutes and then we say goodbye If one of us were busy. It feels very nice and very heartwarming. Instead of messaging the person, You can call him/her.  Maybe, they are not doing good, all they need is someone to motivate them. And you could be the one and believe me it feels nice. If you love someone, you can also call them instead of just message them. I may not be experienced in that area(the girl I love) but calling loved ones will just make you and the people on the other side feel better than ever.
So, to sum, up all, Using technology is not a bad thing. But people are using it for and taking it for granted because"showing a gesture is better than pushing some buttons, You may change someone's life".

If we have a fight between human and technology, the
tech will easily win Because of our dependency on technology"

We can't even wake up without our mobile. so, how do we suppose to win over technology?
